How Wonder Sparked a System, and a Journey Beyond Words
Sometimes, it doesn’t start with a plan. Sometimes, it starts with a question. A whisper. A wondering.
That’s how this all began—not just the Alphabet System™, but the reflections, the blog series, the reclaiming of my story as an educator and as a soul. It began with one question:
“Why doesn’t English make sense?”
It was a student’s question, really. But it became mine. And once I let it take root, it began to grow.
During our time in Saudi Arabia, our school brought in John Spencer’s LAUNCH Cycle—a design thinking model that encouraged us to bring real-world creativity into our classrooms. But I didn’t realize, at first, that I was the one being launched.
The LAUNCH acronym became a mirror:
L – Look, Listen & Learn
A – Ask Tons of Questions
U – Understand the Process or Problem
N – Navigate Ideas
C – Create a Prototype
H – Highlight and Fix
That is exactly what I did. I looked at the students in front of me and saw bright eyes full of confusion. I listened to the shame in their stories. I asked why they were still being pulled out, and what I could do instead. I understood, deeply, that this wasn’t just about literacy—it was about legacy. About healing. About change.
And so I navigated my ideas. I created. I prototyped. I let play and pattern guide me. And when it wasn’t perfect, I kept refining. Not to reach perfection—but to reach connection.
The Alphabet System™ came from that cycle. But the launch didn’t end there. It continues now.
Because this isn’t just about decoding syllables or cracking a system. It’s about unfolding the self.
In many ways, this journey has taken me far beyond the alphabet. It’s led me into past-life echoes and future-magic vibrations. It’s reminded me that language is a living thing, and that I am, too.
I used to think I was building a curriculum. Now I understand: I was building a bridge. Back to myself. And forward to the ones I’m here to serve.
This isn’t just a system. It’s a signal. A spark.
And this… this is the launch.

Stay tuned for more in the Legacy in Motion and Legacy in Language series. The ripples continue.
